Peredur, Son of Efrawg.
Our hero. Curious, determined and brave. Raised far from the world of knights and castles, Peredur sets out on a journey to discover his destiny. Along the way, he learns that strength comes not just from skill, but from kindness, courage and the stories we carry.
The Afanc.
Part beaver and part platypus, the Afanc is said to dwell in lakes across North Wales. According to legend, it was once defeated by a courageous woman who lulled it to sleep with a song. Feared for its strength and unpredictability, the Afanc was believed to cause floods and chaos.
The Asrai.
The Asrai are elusive water-dwellers found in Welsh and English folklore. Pale, quiet and rarely seen, they are said to live in lakes and avoid sunlight.
The Twrch Trwyth
A legendary wild boar from Welsh mythology, the Twrch Trwyth is fierce, untamed, and nearly impossible to catch. Hunted by King Arthur himself in the medieval tale Culhwch and Olwen, the creature is said to possess magical objects and immense strength.
The Ellyll.
The Ellyll is a woodland spirit from Welsh folklore, often considered a member of the Tylwyth Teg. Small and shy, the Ellyllon live in forests feeding on toadstools and fairybutter.
The Bwbach
The Bwbach is a household spirit from Welsh folklore, they're small, helpful and full of personality. Traditionally known for assisting with chores and protecting the home, the Bwbach rewards kindness and routine but dislikes laziness and neglect. According to tradition, leaving out a bowl of cream was a simple way to keep them happy.
The Preseli Dragon.
Born of stone and myth, the Preseli Dragon is a creature rooted in the ancient landscape of the Preseli Hills, the same region said to have supplied the bluestones of Stonehenge.
