Boundless was created to be exactly what the name suggests. A space to explore, experiment and tell stories without limits.
We’re a small artist-led team in Cardiff working across 2D, 3D and immersive media, driven by a genuine curiosity about the world we live in. Our love of adventure, the outdoors and culture shapes the way we see stories; from the environments we build to the characters we bring to life.
We care about thoughtful storytelling, strong craft and creating work that feels meaningful - heartfelt, playful or joyfully strange. Whether it’s celebrating folklore, exploring real-world themes or helping clients communicate complex or sensitive ideas, we aim to create work that resonates and respects the subjects it represents.
While our core team is compact, we scale up through a trusted network of collaborators to adapt to meet the needs of each project, without compromising quality or attention to detail.

Helen is a 2D generalist passionate about creating fun and colourful concepts. With a keen eye for detail and a vibrant style, Helen brings stories to life... the Boundless way. When she’s not at her desk she’s usually running to find a new trig point.
Alan Towndrow
Co-Founder
3D Generalist
& Character Animator
Alan has extensive industry experience as a 3D generalist, specialising in character animation and bringing ideas from concept to final render. Away from the screen, he’s climbing or finding anything rock-related to explore.
Will Curry
Audio Artist
Will is a researcher and PhD candidate in accessible audio, developing new ways to make media more inclusive and personalised. When he’s not tuning into frequencies, he’s out mountaineering and looking for the next adventure.
