Spooktacular Projections.

For Halloween we wanted to make something special and spooky for our local community, so we set up some projections in our front to surprise the trick-or-treaters.

We weren’t quite prepared for the hoard of little goblins that showed up at our door…

For this work, we set ourselves the challenge of going from blank canvas to projection on display (using MadMapper) in less than one working day. We were so happy with the result of the first piece that we cooked up a second next day, just in time. Sometimes it’s great to not get bogged down in the detail and just make something fun.

The visual style uses simple silhouettes designed to contrast sharply against bold colourful backgrounds, layered with smoke and particles for a magical, spooky atmosphere.
