Peredur’s Journey is an immersive, bilingual animation experience for children, inspired by Welsh folklore. Projected across four walls with surround audio, it follows the young hero Peredur on his path to knighthood, meeting creatures and mythical figures along the way.
 

Created with support from the Creative Wales Development Fund, the piece combines 2D and 3D animation to draw viewers fully into the story, with a focus on accessibility and celebrating Welsh cultural heritage.

The installation was recorded inside the Immersive Environment in Ebbw Vale. The space was built by BT as part of the 5G Wales Unlocked programme, with immersive hardware and systems provided by Immersive Interactive. This setup demonstrates how the animation performs in its intended multi-wall, high-resolution format.
